PSG tells Real Madrid what they must do to sign Neymar
- Updated: August 27, 2019

Real Madrid and Barcelona are both interested in signing the Brazilian star and now it seems like a waiting game to find out where Neymar will end up.
Reports in Spain today are saying that PSG is willing to sell Neymar to Real Madrid, but they want Vinicius Junior as a part of the deal.
Neymar joined the French Ligue 1 champions in 2017 from Barcelona for a world-record transfer fee, but now after a turbulent two years in the French capital Neymar wants out.
Ever since this summer’s transfer window opened, both Real Madrid and Barcelona have been heavily linked with the 27-year-old.
The general consensus is that the Brazilian international would prefer to leave the Parc des Princes and return to his former club Barcelona.
This scenario while still not impossible is not PSG’s favorite due to bad blood between the club’s following the last Neymar transfer.
Barcelona would also like to include players in part exchange for the Brazillian, but PSG is holding out for cash.
After having paid a reported 222€ million in 2017, the Qatari backed club is willing to let Neymar leave for 180€ million.
Barcelona has allegedly offered PSG Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakatic and Samuel Umtiti as a part of any deal, but it is believed that PSG would prefer cash.
If this is true, it definitely puts Real Madrid in the driving seat, but I do not see them signing Neymar without including a player in the deal either.
PSG wants Vinicius Junior as a part of the deal

Now according to Spanish sports publication AS the only player PSG would be interested in is Real Madrid’s Brazilian teenager Vinicius.
AS say that Paris Saint Germain sporting director Leonardo is pushing hard to get a deal done, but has come up against a brick wall with Real Madrid refusing to let the 19-year-old leave.
Despite last season’s lackluster performance by Los Blancos, Vinicius was one of the few players who can hang their head high.
Following his move from Flamengo, the young Brazilian featured in 18 La Liga games scoring one goal and providing two assists.
So far this season, manager Zinedine Zidane used him as a starter in the game against Celta Vigo and as a substitute during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Real Valladolid.
Other reports in Spain indicate that Barcelona is now prepared to make one last effort to get Neymar back to the Nou Camp.
This news follows a meeting between several of the clubs board members on Monday.
American sports channel ESPN claims that a delegation comprising CEO Oscar Grau, director Eric Abidal and executive Javier Bordas is now going to meet with Leonardo sometime this week.
The rumors coming out of the meeting suggest that the Catalan giants are prepared to offer PSG 170€ million to sign Neymar on loan with the option to buy next summer.
Other talk is that Ousmane Dembele is to be made a part of the deal.
Following injuries to Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe PSG may change their mind about letting Neymar leave

Some papers are now suggesting that PSG may change their mind about letting Neymar leave after seeing Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe get injured during the 4-0 win over Toulouse.
Uruguayan striker Cavani seemed to suffer a groin pull after just 14 minutes, only to later see French international Mbappe substituted after what appeared to be a thigh problem.
Following treatment and diagnosis by PSG’s medical staff Cavani is expected to be out of action for four weeks and Mbappe three.
Personally, I don’t see Neymar being at PSG after the 2nd of September.
He does not want to be there, leaving the French club no other option but to sell him to the highest bidder.
